Sculptural lighting for everyday rooms. We are a small team in Taiyuan, Shanxi.
Why we started
We wanted one good lamp and could not buy one.
In 2024 we spent months looking for a table lamp that was well made, cost under three hundred dollars and did not look like it came from a hotel lobby. Nothing worked. So we drew one, found two people willing to make it, and put the workshop before the marketing.
We now make around 36 fittings a season. Each one is assembled, wired, switched on and left running for an hour before it is boxed. That is the whole difference, and it is why dispatch takes 2 days rather than one.
We answer our own email. If you write, a person reads it, usually within 1 business day.
How a lamp is made
From raw material to switched-on test, roughly five working days.
01 · Cast and blown
Ceramic bodies are slip-cast or 3D-printed, then glazed by hand. Glass is mouth-blown in small furnaces.
02 · Assembled
Every fitting is wired with braided cord, earthed and fitted with a dimmable driver or an E27 socket.
03 · Tested
We run each unit for an hour, check the joint, the shade seating and the switch, then box it with its own screws.
